Landscaping Services in Burgess Hill & Mid Sussex

Hi, I’m Steve Cook. At S J Cook Landscaping I provide a complete garden design and landscaping service — from first ideas to final planting and aftercare. Whether it’s a full transformation or a gentle refresh, I make the process straightforward and enjoyable.

My Approach

For me, designing and constructing a garden is akin to creating an oil painting — the landscaping is the canvas, and the planting is the paint.

I love the process of combining both elements to create a living picture — one that changes with the seasons and matures gracefully over time. Once the landscaping and planting are complete, that’s not the end — it’s the beginning of the journey.

The real joy begins as your garden starts to grow, evolve and settle into itself, becoming a special place where you can relax, recharge, and watch the wildlife come to play. A beautiful garden doesn’t just look good — it’s been shown to enhance mental health and wellbeing, offering peace, perspective and a daily connection with nature.
